Long time no posting here
I apologize to all and sundry for leaving such a depressing post as my only post!
Well let me change that! Christmas actually went really well and all who came had a great time! (I know it was 5 months ago already leave me alone=p)
Yesterday marked Minx's and my 2 year anniversary from our wedding, yay us! Guess what? We are still totally nuts for each other and still love nothing more than spending as much time together as we can! (I can hear some of you gagging=)
We celebrated by going out to dinner at a lovely restaurant in Box hill called Dumpling King, (Thanks Thorin and Erin for finding this place for us) where we ate many, many dumpling's and then finally managed to make it through our yummy, yummy mains.
The food is totally delicious and all up very reasonably priced. Between minx and I , 3 plates of dumpling's 2 mains and great bottle of wine in a very nice setting we were rather surprised to see the bill come out under $80! Huzzah for us! SO we heartily recommend this tasty place.
Also in recent news Minx and I have jumped head first back into the SCA and even made it to Rowany this year huzzah! One of the main problems with tackling Rowany is making sure you have enough garb for a 5-7 day event that is FULLY garbed. We managed to make enough garb thanks to some fortuitous fabric sales and a super human effort from Alice who made a heap of garb for me, allowing Minx to concentrate on her more complex kirtles, hoods and other stuff!
Hmm time to turn up heat in home as fingers going blue....
